In 2023, Donkumentary was created as a short film with the support of UC Riverside’s Gluck Fellowship for the Arts. A collaboration with cinematographer Max Calzada, the first cut of Donkumentary was an 18-minute all ages, educational film.

Kelsey is now in pursuit of developing the project further into feature length documentary.

The film profiles the feral donkey herds of the inland empire.
